Bagi aku, hidup bukanlah untuk bahagia atau gembira sahaja..It is to be useful, to be honorable, to have it proved that I lived..bak kata orang2 tua 'Harimau Mati Meninggalkan Belang, Manusia Mati meninggalkan nama'..aku tak teringin pun nak dapat nama yang besar2 atau nak 1 dunia kenal aku..cukup lah sekadar orang tahu kewujudan aku di dunia nie walaupun hanya dengan sekelumit jasa (cm jiwang sgt jer..haha)..

Tapi, orang cakap kalau kita nak buat something, we need to set the higher aim to our goal..cakap senang la..nak jadikan benda tu kenyataan tu yang susah..tak ramai orang leh buat camtu..bagi aku, benda2 sebegitu bukanlah satu penghalang kalau kita berani mencuba..persoalannya, adakah aku nie seberani tu???

Hari nie hari Selasa bersamaan 9 Februari 2010..tinggal 3 hari lagi aku akan berangkat pulang ke kampung halaman(cm skema sgt lak ayat ni)..haha..cuti raya cina kn da hmpir..

Da name lagi cuti, msti la sume orang nk balik kampung kn, xkire la cuti tuk raya orang cina kew, tamil kew, msti la nk balik..da dpt balik tu xyah cakap la prasaan nie, mmg hepi giler n berdebar-debar menunggu saat tuk nek bas(bagi yg nek bas la)..

Aku pn same, rase berdebar nie x usah dicakap, da rase nk kuar jantung ni..bkn sbb dpt balik kampung @ xsabar nk jmpe parent @ xsabar nk jmpe buah ati pengarang jantung(ade kew?huhu)..

Aku trase sgt berdebar sbb esok(rabu) n lusa(khamis) aku terpaksa memerah otak tuk jwb test..da la xstudy hape ni..cmne la gamaknyer aku nk jwb nt..hadoi..ade lagi assignment kne anta before cuti ni..da la ptg td, leh lak aku kuar ngn mber aku g beli barang..kt Tunas Mart jer, xsmpi bandar pn..huhu..

Alamatnyer, mlm nie terpaksa la aku bersengkang mata tuk study..haha..

Satu pertandingan menjawab teka-teki telah diadakan antara sang monyet dan kura-kura.Al-kisahnya,mereka sebenarnya nak beradu kekuatan,tetapi tidak mahu menggunakan cara cerita zaman kanak-kanak dulu yang mana arnab berlumba lari dengan kura-kura..Mengikut mereka,zaman IT ni lebih baik mereka menggunakan kepintaran akal dalam menjawab teka-teki.Teka-teki dimulakan dengan monyet (yang agak angkuh) bertanya soalan kepada kura-kura..

Monyet : Apakah yang sama macam lembu,muka macam lembu,ekor macam lembu, tanduk macam lembu... tetapi bukan lembu..

Kura-kura : Nanti aku fikir sekejap..

Monyet : Jangan lama-lama sangat.Ini tak main talian hayat tau!(Monyet merasakan bahawa kura-kura pasti tidak boleh menjawab soalannya.)

2 ari lps..aku g buka puasa kt Padang MPK ngn dak2 pompuan kelas..
ingtkn beberapa org jer yg sudi join, tp xsangka sume org nk g..tp ade sorg yg xdpt ikut sbb ade hal sndri..bile rmi yg nk g, aku ape lg, makin xcited r..sbb program nie aku n 2 org lg mmber aku yg cadangkan..ktorg terpaksa ajak sorg dak dr kls len tuk jd driver sbb ktorg kekurangan driver..almklumla..sume pompuan kn, yg ade lesen xbrani nk drive lak..huhu

ktorg bertolak kul 5.30 ptg ngn 4 buah keta..ingtkn nk bertolak awaltp ktorg ade kls petang tu...kls tu spatutnyer abes kul 6..tp sbb bln puasa, jd kls tu ditamatkn lbh awl..
lps setelkn hal sewa keta, ktorg trus bertolak...smpi kt Padang MPK lebey kurang kul 6..

sesampai jer kt ctu, torg trus g beli mknn masing2...pastu ktorg cr tmpt duduk kt padang yg luas tu..tp makin lame makin ramai lak org yg datang..padang yg luas tu da jd makin sempit dngn kelibat manusia yg terlalu ramai...

ktorg pilih Padang MPK sbb kt ctu ade bazar..n ktorg nk makan makanan yg pelbagai..klao kt kdi makan, biasenye kite kne order n kebanyakan makanan adalah makanan yang same...n 1 lg kelebihannya, masjid beasr kuantan terletak kt tepi padang tu jer..so, lps buka, ktorg xyah r ssh2 nk cr tmpt tuk solat maghrib..

asalnyer, lepas solat maghrib, ktorng nk trus balik..tp plan tlh ditukar waktu tu gak..ade beberapa org mmber aku nk g jln2 kt kuantan dlu n ade yg nk blik..so, ktorg decide 2 buah keta balik n 2 buah lg stay..nseb bek 2 org dr 4 driver nie mmg nk balik..huhu..aku ape lg, msti r join dak2 yg xnk balik kn.. haha

pastu, ktorg trus menuju ke destinasi iaitu Kuantan Parade(KP)..kt ctu mmg msg2 pecah..tp plan asl ktorg nk g KP adalh tuk karaoke..tp full la plak..so dak2 ni pn g r shopping smntara menunggu..aku ngn 2 mmber aku lak lepak kt tepi eskalator smbil tgk org(xde keje) huhu..

akhirny, ktorg dpt karaoke lam kul 10 gtu..mase tu mmg da xrmai org..mmg best r melalak mse tu..haha(org len g tarawikh, ktorg lak g mlalak..haha)

dalam kul 10.30 ktorg bertolak balik sbb KP pn da nk tutup..kul 11 ktorg smpi kt UMP...
itu la xtvt ktorg..mmg da melencong drpd rancangan asl..haha
nyway, ktorg mmg enjoy gak r mse buka puasa ari tu, sbb ktorg leh duk rmi2 lam bulatan n kongsi mknn yg ktorg beli..walupn cme mknn dr bazar, tp nikmat yg ktorg ssh nk dpt adalah nikmat berkongsi mknn same2 termasuk la dak non-muslim..bak kate org putih, saring is caring..

nielah isu yg boleh dikatakan sangat TOP skunk nie..
ape tak nyer..sparuh drpd pusat pengajian kat Malaysia terpaksa menagguhkan sesi pembelajran disebabkan penyakit nie..

same la jugak keadaan nyer ngan 'u' tmpt aku blajar skunk nie(UMP)...
asalnyer aku ingat bende xde la seteruk mane..x sangka lak UMP gak dah jadi mangsa virus nie..

cepat giler virus nie merebak..dlm masa 3 hari selepas pengumuman mengenai 20 org pelajar UMP menjadi suspek terjebak ngn virus nie, UMP terus mengisytiharkan cuti khas slama seminggu..sbb jumlah pelajar yg jd suspek makin meningkat..

biler dengar je pengumuman nie, ade yg hepi n ade yg sedey...bagi aku, 2-2 perasan nie ade..
hepi sbb dpt cuti(sape xsuke cuti oii)..sedey sbb cuti raye yg sepatutnyer 2 minggu da jd 1 minggu jer..frust la jgk..tp nk wat cmne, kesihatan lebih diutamakan..huhu

ape2 hal pown..aku harap budak2 yg jd suspek pengidap H1N1 tu akn slemat..

Ari nie aku g melawat tapak projek kampus tetap UMP kt Pekan. Awal2 pagi lagi aku da bangun semata-mata nk g tapak projek tu. Da lame rasenyer x bangun kul 5 pagi sbb kul 6.45 da kena berkumpul..biasenyer aku tido kul 5 pagi..huhu

Punyer la awal pagi aku kluar n tungu kt bas stop..tup tup kul 8 bru bas smpi. Geram btol.. Mcm tungu nk jumpe ngan Agung jer..
Ktorg g ngn 2 buah bas. Dalam perjalanan ktorg brenti sarapan.

Smpi kat Pekan dlm kul 9.15..Pintu pagar utama kampus tetap UMP nie berdepan ngn pantai..Jd, bg student letrik ngn mechapro yg bakal berpindah ke sana x lame lg leh la mrase lepak2 kt tepi pntai lepas kuliah(tu pown klao dorg larat nk jalan ke luar..huhu)..

Karnival Jom Masuk 'U'

Pada tangal 28 Februari, ‘Karnival Jom Masuk U’ telah dilangsungkan di Kompleks Sukan Universiti Malaysia Pahang. Carnival tersebut telah dirasmikan oleh Timbalan Perdana Menteri Malaysia. Karnival tersebut bukan sahaja dihadiri oleh menteri-menteri malah turut dihadiri oleh Angkasawan Negara, Mejar Faiz.

Terdapat lebih 70 buah booth yang dibuka oleh lebih 70 buah universiti tempatan bagi memberi peluang kepada para pelajar lepasan SPM dan ibu bapa yang hadir mendapatkan maklumat mengenai universiti dan membuat pilihan universiti yang bakal dimasuki.

Predator vs. Alien

Hello everybody. In this session, I would like to share my experience with you.

Today, I was given a role as an Alien in my group for English class where I need to act as an Alien and my partner need to act as a predator. But the most interesting part was when I need to speak in Alien's language. It's quite simple for those who doesn't experienced it but when I and my friends do it in partner, we know that it is not simple to act in front of the others especially when we need to act as someone or maybe something we don't know.

When I see the other group's acting, I'm realize that each of us have our own talents and ideas to make the acting more interesting.

I hope there will be more enjoyable activities in my English lessons so that I can make more and more experiences next time.

Pada suatu hari yang indah, seorang pegawai dari bahagian pengurusan kilang yang agak terkenal telah melawat kilangnya yang terletak agak jauh dari syarikat induk. Lawatannya diadakan secara mengejut bagi meninjau pekerjanya di kilang tersebut. Ketika beliau asyik berjalan berseorangan di dalam kilang tersebut, beliau terlihat seorang lelaki muda yang berdiri sambil menyandarkan tubuhnya pada dinding.

Beliau mendekati lelaki tersebut lalu bertanya, "berapa gaji yang saudara dapat setiap bulan?" Lelaki tersebut pantas menjawab, "RM 500 Encik. Kenapa?" Tanpa menjawab, pegawai tersebut mengambil dompetnya lalu mengeluarkan wang tunai berjumlah RM 1,500 lantas diberikan kepada lelaki tersebut sambil berkata, "saya cuma mengambil pekerja yang ingin berkerja, bukannya hanya berdiri dan melihat orang lain bekerja. Ini adalah duit gaji untuk 3 bulan. Pergi dari sini dan jangan datang lagi." Lelaki muda tersebut mengambil duit yang diberikan dan beredar dari situ.

Pegawai begitu kesal dengan sikap lelaki muda tersebut dan berbisik di dalam hati sambil mengeluh, " Adakah pengurus kilang menjalankan kerjanya dengan baik? Macam mana lelaki yang sebegitu rupa boleh diambil bekerja?"

Sedang asyik mengeluh, pegawai tersebut ternampak seorang pekerjanya berada berhampirannya lalu beliau menanyakan kepada pekerja tersebut, " Siapakah lelaki muda yang saya halau keluar tadi?" Dengan slambernya pekerja tersebut menjawab, " Penghantar Pizza Encik..." lalu berlalu dari situ.

Adakah pegawai tersebut menjalankan kerjanya dengan baik sebagai pegawai pengurusan kilang tersebut??..

Heroes ialah sebuah drama fiksyen yang diterbitkan di America oleh Tim Kring yang muncul di kaca tv Amerika pada 25 september 2006.

Heroes mengisahkan 9 orang biasa yang memiliki kelebihan yang luar biasa. Mereka bukanlah berasal dari tempat yang sama tetapi mereka mempunyai matlamat yang sama iaitu menentang kejahatan. Namun disebabkan kelebihan yang dimiliki, salah seorang daripada mereka yang bernama Sylar menjadi tamak dan ingin menguasai dunia dengan menyerap kelebihan istimewa yang ada pada orang lain. Bagi menentang kekejaman yang dilakukan oleh Sylar, 8 orang lagi terpaksa berpadu tenaga bagi menjamin keamanan dunia.

Cerita ini telah dibahagikan kepda 3 musim yang mana musim pertama mengandungi 23 episod, musim kedua 11 episod ditayangkan daripada 24 episod yang dirancang dan msim ketiga dengan 2 episod dalam masa 1 jam. Heroes musim ketiga baru sahaja disiarkan di Amerika pada 22 September 2008. Ianya masih belum disirkan di Malaysia.

Setakat ini, saya telah menonton Heroes bagi kedua-dua musim. Dan kini saya menunggu untuk menonton Heroes musim ketiga. Saya berharap episod kali ini akan lebih mendebarkan.

From our product, there are 3 main part which are lamp, flexible arm and the cord. Each of the part has their own function. This product suitable for the children and it can protect their eyes.

Mahathir was born on 10 July 1925, in Alor Star, the capital of the northern state of Kedah, the youngest of nine children of a schoolteacher and a housewife. His father, Mohamad Iskandar, was of half-Indian origin, being the son of a Malayalee Muslim (who migrated from Kerala) and a Malay mother, while Mahathir's own mother, Wan Tampawan, was Malay.

During World War II, he sold pisang goreng (banana fritters) and other snacks to supplement his family income during the Japanese occupation of Malaya. Mahathir attended a Malay vernacular school before continuing his education at the Sultan Abdul Hamid College in Alor Star. Mahathir then attended the King Edward VII Medical College in Singapore, where he edited a medical student magazine called The Cauldron; he also contributed to the The Straits Times newspaper anonymously under the nickname "Che Det". Mahathir was also President of the Muslim Society in the college. Upon graduation in 1953, Mahathir joined the then Malayan government service as a medical officer. He married Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali, a fellow doctor and former classmate in college—on 5 August 1956, and left government service in 1957 to set up his own private practice in Alor Star. Mahathir thrived in private practice, and allowed him to own by 1959 a Pontiac Catalina and employ an ethnic Chinese chauffeur (at the time, almost all chauffeurs in Malaysia were Malays, owing to the economic dominance of the ethnic Chinese). Some critics have suggested this foreshadowed a later hallmark of Mahathir's politics, which focused on the "cultivation of such emblems of power".

From his marriage with Siti Hasmah binti Haji Mohamad Ali, they have five children, three sons and two daughters. Both Mukhriz and Mokhzani Mahathir are involved in business as well as in politics while their eldest daughter Marina Mahathir is a prominent local writer and AIDS activist.

He successfully underwent a heart bypass operation in 1989 at age 63.

In the third general election of 1964, Mahathir was elected Member of Parliament for Kota Setar Selatan defeating the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party's (PAS) candidate with a 60.2% majority. He lost the seat in the following general election in 1969 by a mere 989 votes to PAS's candidate, Haji Yusoff Rawa.

Following the race riots of 13 May 1969, Mahathir was sacked from the UMNO Supreme Council on 12 July, following his widespread distribution to the public of his letter to Tunku Abdul Rahman, the Prime Minister at that time. In his letter, he had criticised the manner in which Tunku Abdul Rahman had handled the country's administration which was believed to favour the ethnic Chinese. Mahathir was subsequently relieved of his party membership on 26 September.

While in the political wilderness, Mahathir wrote his book, "The Malay Dilemma" in which he sought to explain the causes of the 13 May Incident in Kuala Lumpur and the reasons for the Malays' lack of economic progress within their own country. He then proposed a politico-economic solution in the form of "constructive protection", worked out after careful consideration of the effects of heredity and environmental factors on the Malay race. The book, published in 1970, was promptly banned by the Tunku Abdul Rahman government. However, some of the proposals in this book had been used by Tun Abdul Razak, Tunku Abdul Rahman's successor, in his "New Economic Policy" (NEP) that was principally geared towards affirmative action economic programs to address the nation's economic disparity between the Malays and the non-Malays. The ban on his book was eventually lifted after Mahathir became Prime Minister in 1981.

Mahathir rejoined UMNO on 7 March 1972, and was appointed as Senator in 1973. He relinquished the senatorship post in 1974 in order to contest in the general elections where he was returned unopposed in the constituency of Kubang Pasu, and was appointed as the Minister of Education. In 1975, he became one of the three vice-presidents of UMNO, after winning the seat by 47 votes. Tun Hussein Onn appointed Mahathir as Deputy Prime Minister on 15 September 1978, and in a Cabinet reshuffle, appointed him concurrently as the Minister of Trade and Industry.

Mahathir has announced that he has resigned from UMNO, the backbone of the ruling party, the Barisan National on 19 May 2008 which coincides with the Wesak Day celebration.

Mahathir became the Prime Minister of Malaysia on 16 July 1981 when Tun Hussein Onn stepped down due to health reasons. He was the nation's first Prime Minister that came from a modest social background, whereas the first three prime ministers were members of the royal or elite families.

After 22 years in office, Mahathir retired on 31 October 2003, making him one of Asia's longest-serving political leaders. Upon his retirement on 31 October 2003, Mahathir was awarded a "Tun"-ship, Malaysia's highest civilian honour.

I love to read comics. But the most interesting comic for me is Detective Conan.

Do you know why? Because he is so cute. And one thing I like about him is the way he solve the cases.

Actually, this story had begun when ace high school detective Kudou Shinichi is fed by a pair of men in black a mysterious medicine after solving a case at a theme park. He physically transformed into a kid. He used Edogawa Conan as his name in finding the cure for the mysterious desease.
In order of finding the cure, he live with his girlfriend Mouri Ran and her father who is also a detective.

Living in a small body size is not a big problem for him. He can use his small size to trick people especially in solving the cases. Besides that, he was provided some investigation equipments by his neighbour, Professor Agasa. So, it can make his investigation easier.

He go through many difficulties. But only one things that he hold ' There is always only one true'.

Located right next to the City Palace, Jantar Mantar is one of the five astronomical observatories t by Maharaja Jai Singh in the year 1728. Formerly called Yantra Mantra, meaning instruments and formulae, the observatory has devices for measuring time, predicting eclipses, tracking planet positions and stars in their orbit and more.Jantar Mantar in Delhi and Jaipur are said to have been built on the orders of Emperor Muhammad Shah, who asked Jai Singh to make corrections in the astronomical tables and to confirm the already available planetary positions. Sawai Jai Singh is said to have sent his envoys to various parts of the world to collect information in astronomy. The Jaipur observatory was apparently based on the data available in the La Hire's "Tables". Every days, I hope that I can let myself to have the air to breath. Because every second in university is about study. Sometimes it makes me bored to face the books.

One of the way to release my tension is to sit with my friends and talk about ourselves. Talking with them can bring a lots of laugh. Their jokes can make me feel better.

Sometimes, I tried to fresh my mind by seing the environments, one of the God's gift. Seing the green leaves with the blue skies can give me a peace feeling.

I also like to listen for a music when I am in stress. It can be a good way to reduce stress.

For me, all the ways above can be the best ways to reduce the pressure especially in study. It is depend on the person.

But, the most important thing is always be fun whenever and wherever you are.

So, lets get fun and njoy your days with the new feeling..

Year 2008, my second time having fasting month not with my family. For the first time i'm having my fasting with my friends at Kedah Matriculation College in year 2007, I feel like I'm in the overseas. It is a common thing for such a student like me. But now, I need to face it for the next three years in Univesity Malaysia Pahang. It's a big difficult for me as the first time I being a high educational center student.

For the fisrt day fasting, i've got my 'sahur' in my cousin's house at Kuantan, Pahang. It was just a simple 'sahur' because she has a baby, so she cannot prepare much. For breaking fast, my roomate and I were prepared some dishes.

But the most things that I like about the fasting month is 'Bazar Ramadhan' where all the dishes for breaking fast are sold. There are many types of foods we can get from the 'Bazar Ramadhan' such as 'nasi kerabu', 'nasi dagang' and 'nasi minyak'. They are the most attractive dishes for the buyer because of their popularities. There are also some desert like curry puff, cream puff, and many of the malaysian's deserts.

Here, me and my roomate always share our dishes. We bought the different dishes and deserts. Then we exchange them. It such an harmony room. Sometimes we prepared the dishes together and invite our friends to eat with us.

The best part of 'Ramadhan' is Tarawikh. Though it is just a 'sunat' prays, but all the Muslims from any part of the country do it. For those who are doing the Tarawikh will have their rewards from God. It is one of the advantages of 'Ramadhan'. But there are a lots of advantages. Another one is the 'Lailatul Qadar' night where the person who do their prays on the night of it will get their rewards same as he/she do the prays for a thousand months.

Ramadan gives muslims many advantages especially for those who really appreciate it. I hope that I can be that kind of person.

There is a lyric the song of ‘I Have A Dream’. ‘I Have a Dream’ was originally singing by ABBA's. But it is becoming more popular when it was singing by Westlife. Apart from that, the song was re-recorded with additional vocals by Indonesian child singer, Sinna Sherina Munaf.

Westlife is an Irish pop band that was formed on July 3, 1998. The group's original line up comprised of Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily, Shane Filan and Bryan McFadden. On March 9, 2004, Bryan McFadden left the band to work on solo projects.

Talking about ‘I Have A Dream’, it has it’s own meaning and theme. It is about a dream of all the children around the worlds. Dream can make people realize that they have a goal to achieve. Dream need to be identified because it creates the inspiration and motivate people to examine their passions and journey towards realization of those dreams.

I also have a dream that I need to achieve. When I was in primary school, I’d like to be a teacher. I think being a teacher is the best thing because I can always sit in front when there are events in school. So, I can see all the performances on the stage clearly. When I think about that, it made me laugh. It is the funniest reason that I ever thought.

It wasn’t stop there. When I watch the action movies, I was dreaming to be a police. In other words, I want to be a hero and save people from the evil. It is a good dream. But I think it’s hard for me to be like that because of my physical appearance (too short).

Then, when I was in secondary school, my dream has changes. I tried to tell myself that I want to be a doctor. For me, being a doctor is the famous job. People will respect me if I have that title. My dream to be a doctor almost near because I can take life science course in my school. But, it’s so hard for me to catch up that biology subject. Because of that, when I enter Matriculation College, I’ve got the course of physical science. My dream to be a doctor exactly destroyed.

In Matriculation College, I just think about my study. No time for me to think about dreams. Thanks God. After studying a year in Matriculation College, I received my result and further my study to University Malaysia Pahang (UMP). I took Civil Engineering. It is my first choice. So I accept it happily.

Studying in UMP is quit tough for me. I need to focus and do a lot of assignment. Apart from that, I have some problems with my family. Sometimes it made me stress and I can’t focus on my study.

From now on, I had created my own dream. To finish my study with flying color results and with a hope that I can bind my family’s relationship together like before. And also to make people show their respects to my family.

Bad Girl

It was happened when I received a call from my sister. A call that change my whole feeling and mood. It was about my family's problem. It was not a new problem because it was began since I'm in primary school, but it becoming worst recently. Actually, I don't want to talk about this because it is too personal for me.

A few days after that, I had a problem with some of my friends. It was not because of them but me. I scolded them just for a small mistake. I can't control my mood. I just want to find someone that can reduce my bad feeling. So, I took someone as a victim to release my tension. It is one of the bad way to reduce stress. So, don't ever try it.

Merdeka..

On 31st 0f August 2008, for the first time I celebrate 'Merdeka' Day in Kuantan, Pahang. The day before 31st August, I went to my cousin's house in Kem Batu Sepuluh in Kuantan. At the night of the day, he brought me and his family to the place named Benteng. Actually, we went there because his son who is 4 years old want to play at the playground.

In the morning of 31st August, my cousin brought me to watch the procession inside the camp. I can have a chance to see the air performance by the 'Tentera Udara Diraja Malaysia'. There were 9 aircraft showing their show in the air with the colour that sprayed from the back of the aicraft.

Open Your Eyes To A New World

For me, it can be classified as something that we need to understand. Because, this problems may guide us to a better life. Whatever happen in our life, just be understandable and positive because not all our bad is destined.

No one was born to be an evil and no one was born genius. But all of us were born with one target, 'to live a life'. It is about what we want to be or to do to proceed our life. So if things were going bad, maybe it's time for us to look at ourselves.

Just remember one thing, 'life has full of opportunity'. If we cannot see it, then we need to create it. We need to be a winner in our inner selves.

Petronas Twin Tower

The Petronas Twin Towers (also known as the Petronas Towers or Twin Towers), in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia were the world's tallest buildings, before being surpassed by the Taipei 101. However, the towers are still the tallest twin buildings and office building in the world.

The Petronas Twin Towers were the tallest buildings in the world until Taipei 101, as measured to the top of their structural components (spires, but not antennas), took over the record. Spires are considered integral parts of the architectural design of buildings, to which changes would substantially change the appearance and design of the building, whereas antennas may be added or removed without such consequences. The Petronas Twin Towers remain the tallest twin buildings in the world.

Designed by Argentine-American architect César Pelli, the Petronas Towers were completed in 1998 and became the tallest buildings in the world on the date of completion. They were built on the site of Kuala Lumpur's race track. Because of the depth of the bedrock, the buildings were built on the world's deepest foundations. The 120-meter foundations were built by Bachy Soletanche, and required massive amounts of concrete.
The 88-floor towers are constructed largely of reinforced concrete, with a steel and glass façade designed to resemble motifs found in Islamic art, a reflection of Malaysia's Muslim religion. Another Islamic influence on the design is that the cross-section of the towers is based on a Rub el Hizb (albeit with circular sectors added to meet office space requirements).

Below the twin towers is Suria KLCC, a shopping mall, and Dewan Filharmonik Petronas, the home of the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra.

Petronas, Malaysia's national oil company, set out to build the world's tallest building. Although other buildings such as the Sears Tower have higher occupied floors, a higher antenna, and a higher roof, the Petronas Twin Towers' spires are classified as architectural details and rise to 452 m (1483 feet), giving it the greatest structural height until Taipei 101. Taking advantage of the rules governing building measurements (counting spires but not antennas) has generated controversy over the towers' claim to the title. However, the tradition of including the spire on top of a building and not including the antenna dates back to the rivalry between the Chrysler Building and the 40 Wall Street.

Other buildings have used spires to increase their height but have always been taller overall to the pinnacle when trying to claim the title. In the aftermath of the controversy, the rules governing official titles were partially overhauled, and a number of buildings re-classified structural antenna as architectural details to boost their height rating (even though nothing was actually done to the building).

A Journey to Cameron Highland

When I was studying in Kedah Matriculation College, my friend named Hazwan Hakim was asking me for a help where he want to do a paper work for our class trip. He'd like to ask me because he know that I had an experienced on doing the paper work when I was in school.

We had to face many problems where we need to change our date for a several times because it almost near to the final exam and the final semester break. So, there were many organization tried to book for the bus. But it doesn't gives us up. We tried to conform the date with the office and book the bus for our trip. At last, we were there on our trip.

In Cameron Highland, we had chance to visit many place like MARDI, Honey Farm, Tea Farm and also Strawbery Farm.

In MARDI, we had a chance to try the foods made by strawbery. We bought strawbery to bring back to our college.

We also had a chance to go to Honey Farm where there were many flowers and bees.

In the end of our journey, there was our friend, a guy who bought the flowers from Strawbery Farm and gave it to each of us in the bus. It such a romantic scene.

Finally, we go back with happy moments. There were an unforgetable memories for us.

Camping at Sungai Lembing

On 26 and 27th of July 2008, me and my friends as the first year students need to go to a camping in Sungai Lembing under University Malaysia Pahang (UMP). It was compulsory for the first year students to show their soft skills.

We leaved UMP at 7 am in the morning. After about two hour in the bus, we arrived at Sungai Lembing camp site.
After arrived, we kept our things and have a breakfast. We were divided into groups and each of the group need to have a leader. So, we choose the leader for our group and also for our gender.

At about 11 am, we prepared ourselves with the tools for our hiking expedition.

On our expedition, we need to hike about 4 hills. Many of us collapsed because they cannot stand the sunlight. Everybody had got thirsty because we don’t have enough water. But, we need to go through our expedition because we cannot go back to the beginning. After 5 hours on the hills, finally our suffering was over.

In the evening, we need to build our tent on the camp site. At night, we were given a task where we need to find a treasure which was hidden by Osama Laden. We finish our task at 4 am.

The next day, we need to prepare the foods by ourselves. We were given groups to prepare the foods. At the afternoon, we have our lunch with the meals that we prepared.

Our camping ended at the evening, 27th of July. Before we leave Sungai Lembing, we were given the oppurtunity to visit the museum.

We went to UMP with the tired bodies. But we felt happy because we had a new experience.

An Amazing Place

In 22nd Oktober 2007, my friends and I was having a journey to Universiti Teknologi Petronas which is situated in Perak Darul Ridzuan.

For the first time i was there, it makes me shock with the facilities and the weird design of the building. We went there and stay for a night at the hostel. I can't see the view of the whole university. All the building were made by the glass. It seems like I was in (Crime Scene Investigation) CSI unit in America. It was amazing with the weird shape of the building and also the laboratories. It's such an amazing place for a student to study.

Talking about study, there must be hard to study in UTP. But all the students there were promised to get a job after finishing their study as long as they've got the pointer not less than 3.0. It's not hard if they try to get it with the hard work and dream to reach thier goal.

After a day in UTP, all of us went back to our college with the hope that someday, we will be like them to have our own achievement.

An emperor and a seed

An emperor in the Far East was growing old and knew it was time to choose his successor. Instead of choosing one of his assistants or his children, he decided something different. He called young people in the kingdom together one day. He said, "It is time for me to step down and choose the next emperor. I have decided to choose one of you."

The kids were shocked! But the emperor continued. "I am going to give each one of you a seed today. One very special seed. I want you to plant the seed, water it and come back here after one year from today with what you have grown from this one seed. I will then judge the plants that you bring, and the one I choose will be the next emperor!"

One boy named Ling was there that day and he, like the others, received a seed. He went home and excitedly told his mother the story. She helped him get a pot and planting soil, and he planted the seed and watered it carefully. Every day he would water it and watch to see if it had grown. After about three weeks, some of the other youths began to talk about their seeds and the plants that were beginning to grow.

Ling kept checking his seed, but nothing ever grew. 3 weeks, 4 weeks, 5 weeks went by. Still nothing. By now, others were talking about their plants but Ling didn't have a plant, and he felt like a failure. Six months went by, still nothing in Ling's pot. He just knew he had killed his seed.

Everyone else had trees and tall plants, but he had nothing. Ling didn't say anything to his friends, however. He just kept waiting for his seed to grow.

A year finally went by and all the youths of the kingdom brought their plants to the emperor for inspection. Ling told his mother that he wasn't going to take an empty pot. But honest about what happened, Ling felt sick to his stomach, but he knew his mother was right. He took his empty pot to the palace. When Ling arrived, he was amazed at the variety of plants grown by the other youths. They were beautiful in all shapes and sizes. Ling put his empty pot on the floor and many of the other kinds laughed at him. A few felt sorry for him and just said, "Hey nice try."

When the emperor arrived, he surveyed the room and greeted the young people. Ling just tried to hide in the back. "What great plants, trees and flowers you have grown," said the emperor. "Today, one of you will be appointed the next emperor!" All of a sudden, the emperor spotted Ling at the back of the room with his empty pot. He ordered his guards to bring him to the front. Ling was terrified. "The emperor knows I'm a failure! Maybe he will have me killed!"

When Ling got to the front, the Emperor asked his name. "My name is Ling," he replied. All the kids were laughing and making fun of him. The emperor asked everyone to quiet down. He looked at Ling, and then announced to the crowd, "Behold your new emperor! His name is Ling!" Ling couldn't believe it. Ling couldn't even grow his seed. How could he be the new emperor?

Then the emperor said, "One year ago today, I gave everyone here a seed. I told you to take the seed, plant it, water it, and bring it back to me today. But I gave you all boiled seeds, which would not grow. All of you, except Ling, have brought me trees and plants and flowers. When you found that the seed would not grow, you substituted another seed for the one I gave you. Ling was the only one with the courage and honesty to bring me a pot with my seed in it. Therefore, he is the one who will be the new emperor!"

My name is Nur Ain Ithnin Binti Alias. My friends used to call me ‘Ain’. A quite short name and easy to remember.

‘Nur Ain Ithnin’ means ‘Cahaya Mata Kedua’ and the words ‘Binti Alias’ means that I am a daughter of a person named Alias. It is the meaning taken by Arabic language. My parent gave me that name because I am their second child. We as Muslims usually were given the name used in Arabic language because we followed the language from al-Quran, our Kitab and also from our prophet Muhammad who was born in Arab.

When I search from the internet, I found the word ‘Ain’ from Merriam-Webster Dictionary which means ‘Own’. The pronunciation of this word is \’ān\. It is function as adjective. Does it mean that I am the owner of myself? But, when I think it deeper, I cannot see my own self. I still cannot see my true feeling about something. I always blame myself for everything occurs around me. That was what I always feel..

Days have just passed away, and now I realize that everything are not perfect. Everybody made mistakes but not everybody can be blamed..It doesn't mean that we have to blame ourselves...So am I !! I tried to think everything in a positive ways. So that I can be MYSELF!!!..
